We are a Rainforest Expedition Guide Service that negotiates authentic immersive expeditions to the Jungle for bird watching, fishing trips, and cultural exchange programs. Through a personal and intimate relationship developed with the Secoya over decades, we can offer a really incredible cultural experience to adventurers seeking to understand what the jungle really has to offer. We are the only guide service that can seamlessly organize your expedition to the Amazon and facilitate cultural exchange with a largely uncontacted indigenous tribe. We handle all of the hard stuff. You show up at the airport. and then you stop worrying about everything and we take it from there.
We cater to any type of individual. Whether you are an adventurer who wants to hike and experience camping in the jungle, or a Professional Bird-Watcher who wants to experience the flora and fauna that the jungle has to offer and would rather sleep in a 5-Star Accommodation Hotel at night, we offer a perfect customized expedition for you. Our immersion programs are highly customizable at request.
Experience the sensation of being tuned into the cyclic rhythms of the jungle. The jungle is a living and breathing organism that is mesmerizing and can be deeply healing to be immersed in. The Secoya are its’ oldest existing inhabitants, and witnessing their connection with their forest is a humbling and astounding experience. During your time with the Secoya, you’ll learn about how they; hunt, fish, make ceramics, weave hammocks, navigate jungle terrain, and thrive in their extreme climactic conditions.
The Siekopai have millenia of botanical knowledge about herbal remedies for many ailments and disease endemic to their region. Learn more about how ancient Amazonian indigenous cultures utilize their abundantly biodiverse environment to maintain vigor and wellness traditionally.
The Siekopai (Secoya) have a rich culture full of traditions, ritual, and rites of passages. They have managed to conserve their cultural heritage for thousands of years through this method. During your immersion, you will be invited to witness and participate in various Secoyan traditions and learn more about their incredibly interesting culture.
You will be safely guided into the jungle by our trip coordinator and translators. Reaching Secoyan territory requires a 4×4 and sometimes multiple canoes. Traditionally, the Siekopai have sparsely inhabited the river basins, which means canoe is the only effective manner of transportation in between Secoyan Families and different communities as they live spread through-out the forest and are not congregated in a single village or city.
Meeting the Secoyan people and their Elders totally changed my perspective about the ways that I live, and I’m much more conscious because of my experience. It was humbling to be around a culture that has existed for so long, in such a beautiful place and I am so happy to know that I got to personally contribute to the tribe by participating.

I’m so glad I decided to go with these guys for my first jungle experience! It was definitely an intense experience, and I feel more in touch with myself than I have in years because of it.

I could never thank RIE enough for the experience they gave me in December 2020. Sharing time with the Secoyan Elders is an unforgettable experience. I went down with a lot of personal questions, and I can attest that one year later, this trip is still teaching me how to move through my life like I moved through the jungle.

Thank you for changing my life!! Being in the jungle for 7 days was physically and spiritually one of the most transformative experiences of my life and I will never forget. I feel more motivated in my day-to-day life now, and feel more connected to my family and friends after learning how important communal connection is.

Holy Crap I didn't realize there were so many fruits I have never tried before... Actually, pretty much everything I experienced on this trip I have never been aware of before or realized before. I can't really communicate how cool of an experience I had. Consider me a regular.
